Here’s more on the Trustees – all of whom donate their time voluntarily.
Catherine Moran
Catherine was educated in Crosby, and taught for both Lancashire and Liverpool Education Authorities before re-training as a Probation Officer. After having a family and moving to Yorkshire, she returned to teaching. Cath then moved again to Bedfordshire, where she worked with the homeless and was involved in Prison Education. She was married to John Moran, the inspiration for this charity, for twenty five years and together they had two daughters. At present, Cath is involved in the design and creation of a three-acre garden.
Josie Mullen
In addition to her work as educational consultant, working on a variety of projects in both the primary and secondary education sectors, Josie is also a Liberal Democrat Councillor for Broadgreen, Liverpool. She previously served as Chair of Education, Libraries and Sport for Liverpool City Council. In addition to her political expertise, Josie has extensive teaching experience: for example, she worked in Italy for eight years teaching English as a foreign language, and taught for twelve years at Tiber Street Junior School, Liverpool, where she had special responsibility for assessment, record keeping and English.
